#TOONTOWN REWRITTEN REVIEW UPDATE#
I LOVE these updates, I've been playing Toontown ever since late 2003 so I have seen a majority of the updates that came to the game, I know how a Toontown update feels & this feels like a Toontown update so having this put into TTR just reminds me of the days back when we'd get things here & there in TTO. I'm sure those complaining are Toontown purists which on a scale, I kinda lean towards there so I can see what they're thinking but it's probably those who are more extreme with it & they don't like seeing their vanilla Toontown change when in actuality, it's still pure Toontown, just has quality of life updates. At least that's one less thing to worry about? Kinda? At least what you mentioned about gag strength is a thing now with FOs. On the topic of Health Points, I'd love that too as much as you but TTR's not gonna add it sadly because they want to "encourage communication". It doesn't make sense in the meta of Toontown. The TTR Discord have went over this several times, I can't be bothered to explain it fully since the TTR Discord could explain way better why this issue is irrelevant and TTR should be focused on other things, but since I know you're gonna criticize me for not giving a point: The main issue is that TTO added the skip button because it was an easy change and they had nothing else to do. I can see where you're coming from but not having a skip button doesn't degrade from the core issues of TTR and it's not even worth bringing up. As for the Minecraft comment, that's not really applicable because there's a stamina bar that runs out when you sprint too much Stamina is not infinite in Minecraft.

Clash is gameplay and updates over anything else, and TTR is sticking to "How do we align with Disney's vision?". To cover, I don't think "just copy other servers" is a good mentality for ANY server to have, it's about finding an identity. Otherwise, what's the point? At least there's SOME kind of difference between toons in how long it takes for people to double tap the W key or forward arrow key or whatever.

8:42 I initially thought the exact same thing, but I've gotten used to the fact that you have to double-tap and I actually think it's better this way, since not everybody is gonna sprint at the exact same time and speed. To be fair, I could totally see why you'd think that though. 8:02 Correction, they are not just reusing the old assets, they're different models with higher quality textures.
